Our entire team is passionate about helping those with a disability, allowing them to live life to the fullest and to achieve their maximum potential, in other words to ‘live, laugh and play’!
As a mother to Bailey who has Muscular Dystrophy, I (Tiffany) started the business and am, along with the entire team, deeply committed to helping parents and care givers with experienced and expert help and advice based on years of practical experience.
We’re very proud to have been awarded:
- 2011 – Amelia Earhart Award for being a pioneer in the field of Paediatric Equipment – National College of Business
- 2011 – Carer’s Queensland – Carer Friendly Business South Coast Regional Winner

Tiffany – Big Chief
Tiffany is the founder and Big Chief (she makes us call her that!) here at Special Needs Solutions.
Married with 2 gorgeous boys, Tiffany enjoys the Gold Coast life with the great weather and great friends.
When Tiffany isn’t working or looking after her family, you can often spot her enjoying a wine or 2 on the back deck.
Maureen
Maureen is a super friendly and very helpful person to have on your side when researching the best equipment to buy.
A part time Formula 1 driver, Maureen was banned from her professional driving career after being found texting on her mobile phone whilst driving during the recent Italian Grand Prix.
The upside of that is that you’ll receive your deliveries super quick as she’s now our full time delivery driver.
Hayley – Occupational Therapist
Hayley is a wonderful and very passionate Occupational Therapist who keeps us in stitches all day long.
Hayley was a beautiful bride just a few weeks and has settled into that new role with gusto, orders for her husband and much more.
Likes to do as little as possible, loves driving around in our beloved Bessie and drag racing on our bikes and trikes!
Bridget
Another recent bride (!), Bridget is the number cruncher – ouch!
Bridget tries to keep us all under control with her calm manner.
Bridget enjoys long walks along the beach, horses and world peace – Yes Miss Congeniality!
Rafa – Office Dog
Rafa is our resident “Office Dog” and works tremendously hard – we know this because, even at the start of the day, she’s completely exhausted and needs a long nap under the desk.
After this Rafa then checks on all employees and their empathy by getting them to pat her.
After that, she’ll then break for lunch. And then it’s back under the desk for another nap!
Milly – Office Understudy Dog
Milly gets all her on the job training from Rafa.
Which means Milly spend a lot of time asleep too!
Bessie – Transport Manager
Bessie enjoy long drives and getting out and about to meet all the kids.
Bessie was recently on “Pimp My Ride”, with her fully sick rims and colourful sign writing. ;o)
She is no average van, keep an eye out for her and give her a toot!
